I installed retropie on my rp3 a few weeks ago and everything was fine. I installed the snap previews and expanded external hard drive and with the new space I decided to add some ds games. I installed the emulator, placed roms in the rom folder (most on the extended but 1 in the original rom folder just in case.) roms are the correct extensions and bios in bios folder. The ds emulator doesn't show.
Did I mess something up with the install of external extension or the video snaps?

for some reason there is no nds folder in the emulationstation/gameslist/ not sure if that has anything to do with it. Or how i remedy it.

@se7enout gamelist shouldnt matter at all. Do you have an nds folder in /home/RetroPie/roms/ ? The next thing is do you have an es_systems.cfg in /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/ ? If yes, you need to delete it or copy the nds section from /etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg
