Does anyone know if it's possible to hook up a Wii U game pad to a raspberry pi and use it on Retropie?

I apologize I worded this question poorly and it seemed like I wanted a controller. What I was actually asking for if it was possible to connect the second screen controller of the Wii U.

@afunnyname Oh I see.... that's a good question. It doesn't run off of bluetooth I don't believe... so I don't know. Here is a quote from a different forum about getting it to work with PC.

"The Bluetooth connection only handles the controller inputs. Bluetooth doesn't have the bandwidth for A/V connections of anywhere near the quality that the GamePad uses.

The streaming is done by a highly customized and proprietary variant of 802.11n. It's not impossible that this could be replicated by a PC but it'd be tricky."

I would be surprised if this was successfully done by someone. The video for the screen is streamed over a proprietary 5 GHz radio. A gentleman in a previous post said it's based on 802.11n and he could very well be right. Still I think it may be possible through a custom USB adapter of some kind, though the 480mbps throughput limit may turn out to be a constraint, not sure. Is it possible? I believe so yes. Is it something easy to do, almost certainly not. You would probably need to find an engineer to design a custom USB adapter to communicate with the pad.
