Another great classic & top candidate for Mame Row #42

      Joust

      Have Fun !!

You can find this and more hand crafted quality overlays in the rpie-ovl repository.
And if you want an easy way to install them, @meleu created a great dedicated script.
Perform these commands on your RetroPie:

      cd
      git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/meleu/rpie-art
      cd rpie-art
      ./rpie-art.sh

After launching rpie-art.sh script you just have to follow the instructions in the dialog boxes. Once you have the rpi-art.shscript, choose the Update option to get all the latest art in the repository.

I maintain a set of MAME bezels, gathered from many different sources (mostly from the HyperSpin and RocketLauncher boards). Would you mind if I added these bezels to this set? They're available from MEGA and EmuMovies at the moment. I'm also looking into a way to (batch) convert for into RetroArch usage.

@phulshof You mean adding them to the Github repository ? As long as they are compliant with @meleu's script requirements (info.txt and related cfgs) it can be done. If they're "max gaming area" (no monitor bezels and/or other artwork reducing the actual game area) they can be added to my repo; otherwise I'd suggest you create your own github repository.
@meleu's install script can manage multiple github sources.

Well, my post had two parts really. :)

            1. Can I convert your bezels to MAME format, and add them to my set on MEGA and EmuMovies?
            2. I can convert my bezel set to RetroArch format, and add them to the Github repository. I need to investigate how best to batch convert them, and figure out how to offer them in the format that meleu's script can use.

@phulshof ok. Seems I missed the point.
Yes, sure you can convert to mame (possibly mentioning original creator ;-) )

Batch converting from name to Retroarch, as said, is different story: not so simple.

Well, took me a few hours, but I'm done. :) They're added to the set for all to enjoy with your name firmly attached to them.
