Location of plugin's for kodi?
-
/opt/retropie/configs/ports/kodi is empty?
-
@deltax5 What's the output of
ls -la ~/.kodi
? If you have an old retropie the files may be in the other location I mentioned. I have no idea what version you are running (see https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first)
-
newest version on this site. just installed a week ago.
-
@deltax5 Please read the link again. (RetroPie Version Used (eg 3.6, 3.8.1, 4.1 - do not write latest):)
You can get the version number from RetroPie-Setup
-
RetroPie 4.2 and using winscp 5.10.2
-
@deltax5 Please post the output of the command I posted above from a terminal.
-
pi@retropie:~ $ ls -la ~/.kodi
lrwxrwxrwx 1 pi pi 32 Jul 17 20:32 /home/pi/.kodi -> /opt/retropie/configs/ports /kodi -
@deltax5 then I guess the folder is empty.
-
-
pi@retropie:~ $ ls -la /opt/retropie/configs/ports/kodi
total 32
drwxr-xr-x 7 pi pi 4096 Jul 18 21:45 .

@deltax5 the folder isn't empty. You must be looking at the wrong location in winscp.
-
ok must of been wrong location. I got it now. Just copyed the url in it and got it thanks. I eneded up just putting the apps in ziped folders and installing it with kodi that way. Sigh.
-
At least I got it working now. There is a big bust with some repository on kodi and it's hard to get some apps now. some even got shut down.
