@ruckage I just want to say thank you! I was having trouble getting your theme up and running, and finally found your perfect instruction to update emulationstation (not just retropie) from source. That did the trick!

I was wondering if there is a streamline way of swapping out the image of the SNES with the North American image you made. I just swapped the two image file names with each other within the themes folder to trick the system. It works, but I feel like I might be doing it the dumb way... haha

And I can understand that you want to do your own stuff. This is your theme.
I did a hyperspin default mame theme few years ago (hypermamu), with custom made wheel images, and didn't really liked the fact that people wanted to create their own images cause they did'nt reach the level of quality of my original theme.

Hey ruck, hate to be the type that says "hey can you add x system" since you have already done so much work, but do you think you could add Love to your to do list, to add eventually?

I recently added the system/emulator because it comes with one of my favorite games installed, Mari0 (it's co op mario bros but with portals because why not) thinking it was a "port". But it seems it is just it's own system.

I'd happily donate another slab to your beerfund if it were to pop up on your to do list since I don't think I could replicate your particular art style haha.

Done, I hadn't heard of that before - sounds interesting, it's basically a game creation system by the sounds of it.

@fabianvg There's already a SNES one in the SNES folder. You can rename it to make it the main.

Regarding your mockup, It's nice you felt inspired to make that but as I've said several times previously I want to complete this alone. I have done all the other systems myself and want to do the rest myself as well as I have my own ideas for how I want each system to look.

You just need to be patient, I have literally put months of work into this drawing everything myself and do not want it to be fragmented, I have a clear idea of how I want each system to look and so wish to work on it alone. I'm sorry but I do not give permission for @ João-Nuno-Cravinho to release this. I hope you understand my reasons and will respect my wishes.

Thanks :). Yeah, I totally agree. I just find it really satisfying to produce something single-handedly and it's nice to feel proud of something that was all your own work, (I know a few bits of this theme originated from the Nes classic menu but the vast majority of it is now my own work) I'm sure you feel the same way.
At this point sharing the workload on this theme would feel a bit like giving away my baby :D.

Thanks for the offer but I'm happy doing it myself at the moment. And it's only 42 that need to be done to start with as the theme only has 42 systems so far (and I've already drawn 21 icons so I'm halfway).

Hi.

First of all, I want to thank you for this amazing theme. I enjoy it a lot.
I know you want to finish it on your own. You have your own style and if other people start contributing it will probably show in the final version. Also it's fun to do it.

To the users: If you're like me and don't like having a black space for a system in the to-do list, you can use this hastly made Dreamcast system images I made until rukage releases the official one. I made ones for Sega32X and PC (dosbox) but they are so horrible that I won't share them. Thrown together in a few minutes with almost no experience in Photoshop (recently transferring from Paint Shop Pro).

This is not official and it doesn't have ruckage's support. It's meant to be used temporarily until the official pack comes out. You can use it or modify it anyway you want to as long as you're clear on those points.

Edit: I just read now that the official version will probably be released this week. At least I'll know how far I was from some quality theme. lol.
