Retropie 4.2, new install on a pi3 board.
Everything works great with the pre-installed emulators, but every time I go to install the optional packages I get an error saying none of the needed files are there. I've tried to install just the ones I want, and also the full install, and everything is missing. Do I need to download these emulators separately? I thought they were already on the image... Also, I'd rather install through the menu as opposed to a command prompt.

I feel like I'm overlooking something obvious.

      Thanks in advance!!!

@poker909 You should provide more information when posting -

Sounds like you don't have internet access or something but I have little to go on - they are not on the image which is why you have to install them (they get downloaded on demand).

Thank you!!! Apologies for not providing all the technical details of my setup, I'm at work hoping to fix it when I get home. Because everything else works, I thought I was just overlooking something obvious.
Will simply connecting my pi to wifi resolve the issue, or is there another step?

          Thanks!!!
