Kodi 17.3 Krypton Addons Installation Problems

Hi Team
I've recently installed Kodi 17.3 Krypton on my retropie. Everything went smoothly, but I can't install addons. I can add the directory to the file manager, but when I go to manage addons, I have no option to install from zip.
I'm new to Kodi, do any direction to a site with reliable information would also be helpful.
