@sonicman2020 with respect, your understanding of the runahead settings, and the audio latency settings are very wrong. if you want to get this working properly, please start again from the retropie image, and don't change such settings: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/First-Installation/

@mitu It was an image issue, reflash fixed everything

@wmarcio Actually, the issue was caused by a similar thing! Instead, it was the usb that I had connected into the pi. All my freezing and stuttering has finally stopped. Thank you for the help!

@clyde You are right. I don't have any pi overheating.

@beahrdog Please don't revive year long posts, open a new topic instead. The Nespi cases are notorious for power problems, even if your power source is ok. If you have problems with the PI in the case, but the problems don't occur with the PI outside the case, then you know where the issue is.
