So I realised that there was loads of games on my SD card which were supposed to be used on the USB drive I had. The problem now is that I decided to delete all the games off the SD, and insert the USB back in. The problem is that I kept it in when I had removed the games off of the computer, so now everything is completely wiped and I now have to start from square 1 again. Does the USB Mount install the ROMS specifically on the USB or does it install the ROMs on both?

      System: Raspberry Pi 3b
Power Adapter: 5A Official Raspberry Pi adapter (EU)
      Version: RetroPie 4.2.2
      USB: SanDisk Cruser 32GB

@Allanbuzzy did you check you ad card to see if they are still there? You may have accidentally just rmived them from the USB stick?

I've got an idea. I'll try to check the SD Card and see if the ROMs appear when the USB stick is removed. After all, USBMount may work in a way that if you insert a external device, it puts the ROMs on the main SD card. But if it appears when I check the SD Card and when I've ejected the USB, I will hopefully not delete the files as if I inserted the USB drive with it wiped, there is a risk of the SD to wipe everything.

@Allanbuzzy You can't speak of a installation here! The usb helper script only copies the roms from the sd card to the usb stick and keeps them on both! It won't delete anything

If you plug in the usb and start up retropie it mounts the usb device to the /home/pi/RetroPie folder, so everything on the sd card is "hided"!
