I have installed Retropie 4.2 on my raspberry 3. I start the system up, I get to the controller setup page after I set the controller up I am sent back to a page that shows the Retropie symbol and the word configuration under it. I don't make it to the home page that shows you have 14 games when first started. any ideas on what it could be I have reformatted the sd card and reinstalled it several times with the same results.

I have some problems to understand your point/problem...
Do you mean if you start your pi it shows the "retropie" entry on the start menu?
If you don't have a system begin with a letter "lower" than "r" than this is the default as Emulationstation shows the system with the "lowest" letter at boot

        System: Raspberry 3 Model B, RetroPie 4.2.1
Storage: 16gb Micro SD, 64gb USB Drive
        Theme: Updated NBBA

        Documentation solves many problems: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/

          Hi @hhandsmt

That sounds like normal behaviour. When you complete the setup, there are no other systems visible until you upload roms for the games to your Pi.
