Retropie download fails every time

I have tried downloading multiple time on multiple computers, and multiple browsers and the download always fails around 30%. I've even tried downloading it on my phone with no success. the only thing i can think of is that im in canada trying to download from the UK. are there any reliable north american mirrors available? or any suggestions at all?
