Controller issues, some wont work and others stop responding

Hey guys!
I have a irritating problem with my controllers. I am a noob at this, so if you can, try and explain like you would to a child =)
I have six controllers, two ps4 and two usb "SZMY-POWER CO.,LTD. GAMEPAD 3 TURBO" controllers. I even have two USB-snes controllers. My problem is this, when I play with my PS4 controller it works great, for a while then it decides to stop responding.
I have the same problem with the SNES-controllers.
The two usb SZMY-POWER CO.,LTD. GAMEPAD 3 TURBO-controllers (they are in fact ZEDLABS PS3-controllers but they are recognized as SZMY-POWER CO.,LTD. GAMEPAD 3 TURBO by the PI) wont work in any roms at all. They work fine in the Emulationstation.
Can you help me?
