baku baku animal
-
I just noticed baku baku animal included in the background of the video from HaRp64, the video is supposedly for a pi3 64gb image, which im downloading,
in the meantime ive installed mame and put a .zip for baku baku in the roms folder, it runs but about half speed.Does anyone know if there is any chance of this running on a pi3?
im willing to overclock and sell my soul to get it to work.
maybe even buy an i3. I had no idea this game was on mame...... -

@spruce_m00se the only image you should be downloading is the official one.

You won't find support for anything else here.

@caver01 I think I could get a tenner for it, I may manage to find an old i3 on ebay for that much :)

@herb_fargus Well, as mentioned, while it is downloading I have installed the mame emulator, and run Baku Baku, which doesnt run at full speed,
I would like to know if anyone has any info as to the chances of the pi handling this game on mame, as obviously if the hardware cant hack it then I dont need to bother continuing with a pi3 to run this game. -
@spruce_m00se have u tried the game in FBA . I noticed when I Googled the game out of curiosity that it's on game gear and master system to. It may work in one of those emulators if you wanted to play it. I'll have a look later and see if it's my games on FBA and try it. Had a look I don't have it on FBA sorry . Try it in different MAME emulators.

@beamquaker whats FBA?
the game is from the sega saturn, the master system was a tectoy port, which is still fun but no where near the same. It isnt the most graphically demanding game in the world, although it is probably up there in terms of what a pi3 could handle i think, but its the saturn, so psx era, and my pi runs all the tomb raiders perfectly well, and they have a lot of 3d graphics. So i would assume that Baku Baku isnt a problem, but i dont know.
I will try some other mame emulators and see what happens.

ok i googled it and it doesnt lok like its on FBA from what I can see.

you can see what games are supported by retropie's various arcade and mame cores by looking at the compatibility lists here:
