I have tried looking through threads, but none offer the answers I'm looking for. I am new to Raspi and RetroPie. I have been able to run ROMS for NES, SNES, and N64 fine. But, when it comes to learning how to play ps1 games (or others that require a BIOS??) I am lost as can be. Is anyone able to provide a step by step description on how to get PS1 games to work?

      Thanks!

@Darksavior So, do you need a rom and .bin file for every game? What about the BIOS. Is that just one file for all games? Thanks for the help. I'm waaay new to all of this.

You can read the link I posted for the supported file formats. I prefer to just download converted .pbp's due to being smaller in size and are only one file, which makes for a neater library.

As for the bios, yes, one file. There's different version numbers of the bios that exist. Just choose one.
