Using RetroPie 4.2 and Raspberry Pi 3 model B.

First, normal game saving doesn't seem to work. Playing Super Mario World, nothing was saved when I completed the first world and chose "Continue with save".

So I enabled auto savestate in Retroarch config, then checked that savestate_auto_save and savestate_auto_load = "true" in configs\all\retroarch.cfg.

It autosaved the first time I exited, but it will always load from that first autosave, no matter what progress I made since.

The only way of saving that works, is manually saving state with Select+Right/Left bumper.

Also, when I set Save Configuration on Exit ON, it stays on OFF the next time I open Retroarch.
