        Hi @Doctow

At the top of the page it says: Please do not post a support request without first reading and following the advice in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

Unfortunately your post demonstrates that you haven't done this, specifically these 2 points:

Make sure your topic title summarises the issue - do not use topic titles like "HELP ME" - "Retropie Bug" tells the developers and people who can assist nothing in relation to your issue, and makes it more likely your post will be overlooked.

        Add the following relevant information:

        Pi Model or other hardware: (B, B+, 2 B, 3, X86 PC etc..)
Power Supply used: (If using a Pi)
RetroPie Version Used (eg 3.6, 3.8.1, 4.1 - do not write latest):
Built From: (Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website, Berryboot, or on top of existing OS etc.. - please provide the filename of any image used)
        USB Devices connected:
        Controller used:
        Error messages received:
Log found in /dev/shm/runcommand.log (if relevant):
Guide used: (Mention if you followed a guide)
File: (File with issue - with FULL path)
Emulator: (Name of emulator - if applicable)
Attachment of config files: (PLEASE USE PASTEBIN.COM FOR LARGE LOGS)
        How to replicate the problem:

Also, always be sure to search this forum for answers too. This is a known issue and the developer plans to address it sometime in the future. Unfortunately the DraStic team have suffered a few setbacks recently and as a result, the Raspberry Pi port is on the lower end of their priorities at the moment. You can find out more by visiting their forum.

Thanks for pointing this out @mediamogul
Man, what a crazy setback! I hope Lordus is okay!
Also Exophase did hint to the thought of one day releasing it as open source!

              I hope so too.

It's crazy to think that they're essentially having to hack their most recent binaries to recover source code.

What's discouraging is that part of his user base there is recommending against it. From what I've read, they seem to be under the impression that once a project goes open source, it doesn't get worked on anymore. You only have to look over in this direction to see that the opposite is very often true.

I didn't realize DraStic got its start on the Linux desktop. I guess I always thought it was out on Android first but I was aware of the Open Pandora port.

Maybe they can release the source code to the Raspberry Pi port but still sell the Android version. They should just host it on a GitHub account and let the community submit patches to it and those (if applicable) could make it into future Android releases. Also the people who purchased the Android version would have access to the Android's source (if they wanted it).

                  Just a thought!

@hermit Looks like if you launch and exit the pixel desktop it fixes the issue. I'll try to find another workaround.
