(SOLVED) update issue
-
I am updating all packages right now with the setup script. It is not done yet but i was watching it working and i saw still somewhere the same error but it kept on going so i will see when it will be done if this is fixed or not.
-
@buzz I still get the same error after i had updated all packages with the setup script. I believe you that it is not a fatal error or problem but what does that do ? is it because it is Kodi that does not get updated anymore or something ?
-
@darthlink you updated all packages, then rebooted and did "apt-get update" again ? or you saw the error during the update (which you will since it's fixed later)
-
@buzz ok i have not rebooted after. Let me do this right now and let you know if its still there after.
-
@buzz Unfortunatelly, it still does the same error after a reboot !!
Is there a way to export the result of apt-get update into a file so then i can show it to you here. I cant seem to be able to copy the text right now because i am connected to my PI through ssh at the moment.
-
Do you have Kodi installed from RetroPie setup? Another way is to remove the pipplware file from
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/
folder. -
@buzz when i had installed kodi, all i had done was: sudo apt-get install kodi and it has been working since then. Before i remove the pipplware from the sources list, what is the pipplware please ??
-
@buzz i hace just went into thta pipplware file and the 2 sources that seem to cause that issue are in there. What are those ? Are they suppose to update kodi ?
-
@darthlink they are no longer required. You can remove them. (Delete the file).
-
@buzz ok good, i deleted it. Thx now its all fine. ;)
