joy2key revert error now shows in retropie-setup update. cannot update retropie-setup now

so i had gotten the joy2key issue reverted. but when i tried to do it as user pi it gave an error. it is working now. however, now when i try to update retropie-setup i get the same error and cant update. not sure how to fix this. here is a pic of the error:

@edmaul69 my suggestion:

cd ~/RetroPie-Setup/scriptmodules/supplementary/runcommand/
rm joy2key.py 
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/master/scriptmodules/supplementary/runcommand/joy2key.py

And then try to update again.

@meleu really bad news. Command went 100 ok. But now joy2key doesnt work at all now and i still get the error in retropie-setup. Also in the black screen in between es and retropie setup is says permission denied.

@meleu nevermind. running "git reset --hard origin/master" fixed it. thank you for your help though.

I would bet that the reason of failure was because you're used to use the root account. :-)

@meleu it failed as pi user so i used root user to get joy2key to work
