@wakaya The credits are yours, thanks again.
-
@hiulit Some people are collaborating with the translation. So I do not know if all the mistakes are mine. Spanish is from Spain. But you can fix it without problems. I don't know much use github, can you change the location to es_ES? Thank you
-
@heloisa Understood :)
-
@heloisa Ok, then I'll take a better look at the Spanish translations and I'll add the
es_ES
;) -
-
@heloisa Hi! You are amazing! Thanks for take the time of translate in a language that is very complicated for yours orthographic rules.I will test it coming soon.
-
@Dereck101 :) Very good. I'm happy to help you. @hiulit and @kactius also helped correct translation errors. If have any errors, let me know. Tks
-
@Dereck101 Step by Step to translate is HERE
-
do you guys still need french translation?
-
@itskryode Already done by @Flyinghead
Tks :) -
@heloisa oh, nice! what are some translations that you need?
-
@itskryode Each one made the translation of the language that has knowledge. You can translate to the language you know. I translated to Portuguese and Spanish.
Already complete (Portuguese (Brazilian), Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese and Catalan). Tks :)
-
@heloisa Alright, I'll try for Russian. I'll get some friends who are interested with this stuff to help me out.
-
@itskryode Nice! Russian is interesting, very good to have that language. Good luck. Any questions, write me. I'm following you too :)
-
Me again. I tried to fork a German lang file, but seem to have created a commit/proposal in the original repo instead. Could someone please give me a push in the right direction? See here:

-
Okay, my first version is ready in my own repo. How do I make a pull request from it into @Flyinghead's repo?
-
@Clyde I just did it for you but it's very simple: go to Pull Requests, New Pull request, select your repository (master branch) as head repository, select my repository (master branch) as base repository and Create.
-
@Clyde Nice! Thank you! The more translations we have, the more the RetroPie team will see people is interested in having a localized version of EmulationStation :)
-
@Flyinghead Thank you very much! I got very confused with the Github naming scheme: pull request, head repo, base repo, master branch … you just can't guess what they mean, you'll have to know it.
I'll add your post to my bookmark archive for future reference.
@hiulit Thanks, it's the first version, though, which I hacked together in one 2-hour session, and I already found some errors in it. I'll revise it as soon as I can. I'd also appreciate it if some German speakers would look over it.
