      Hello all,

I've started working on my own theme and it relies heavily on high quality artwork , and I realized that most of the game logos available are a maximum of 400px x 175px (the default size for HypserSpin wheel art). I have a handfull of high-res versions I've either made myself or found online, but nowhere near a full collection for any system. Does anyone know where (or even if) higher resolution or vector versions of game logos are available?

      Thanks

@thebishopsbane keep in mind that high quality graphics/logos/artwork may cause performance issues even with the recent improvements to emulationstation. Many of us have struggled with a balance of quality images and resolution and making the themes smooth while scrolling through the systems/games. The more systems you add, the more image size and quality has an effect. Also, the more images, logos, wheel art displayed in a single view can also affect performance.

Good luck and please share images of what you create!

@tmntturtlguy, you raise excellent points. I may have to rethink my plan a little. That's one of the problems with developing on Windows, is I forget the technical limitations of the Raspberry Pi itself. I've done mockups of the theme which I posted here if you're interested. The large art in the background is actually just regular boxart set to fill the screen, but I haven't tested its performance on a Pi yet. The game logos may have to be shrunk down a bit.

Thanks for the input, I appreciate all the help I can get.

@lilbud, this is exactly what I was looking for, except I'm hoping to find 8-bit and 16-bit era games. Although with waht TMNTturtlguy has mentioned above, HD game logos may not be the direction I want to go after all. Thanks though.
