Been racking my brain on this all day. I have retropie 4.3 running on a pie 3 with 2 genuine PS3 controllers connected via BT. Both controllers work flawlessly everywhere except the NES games. On every two player game (contra, Double dragon, blades of steel etc...) The Emu seems to see both controllers on loading, but the games themselves don't recognize the second controller. In fact when you start a one player game both controllers control player 1. I have set the controller order in the Libretro & NES Emu respectively, configured the inputs in retroarch, and updated all of the core packages. These were great suggestions posted by others, but nothing has worked for me yet....any additional help would be appreciated!

@jiminuz Double Dragon on the NES is not 2 player. Infamously so.
