      Running rpi3, and latest version of emulationstation as well as most updated packages.

      So occasionally when i boot up my retropie, the screen sometimes gets stretched and everything is bigger than it should be. for example if i were to go in command line on my TV, the screen is stretched and i cannot see the full output, heres what im seeing. alt text

      Of course, my theme is also stretched like this and everything is much larger. If i were to open a rom, its offset and the rom is cutoff as well. It use to fix by itself however when i opened a rom and when back to emulationstation. the resolution would go back to how its suppose to be... but now its not. its stuck on this resolution..

      I havent changed any hdmi settings in /boot/config.txt its all on the default settings.
      I ran the tvservice -s command and this is what im getting

      state 0x12000a [HDMI DMT (4) RGB full 4:3], 640x480 @ 60.00Hz, progressive

      im using a HDMI Cord, on my 45 inch TV. so should i go into config.txt and put the following

      hdmi_group=1
      hdmi_mode=16

      Would that fix the problem?
