      I have looked and can not find out if via boot is holding back my pi 3. Does any one have some insight on if I should buy another power supply. I'm interested in the cana kit charger.

        why do you think it's holding you back now? do you get the lightning bolt symbol?

        canakit psu has been known to be insufficient for some users. the only recommendable one is the official raspberry pi psu, in my opinion.

          @dankcushions I've personally never had any issues with canakit chargers but I also don't overclock
