Change N64 default resolution
-
Hi all. I'm sure this topic has been done to death but can't seem to find old threads related to this. I'm in the process of setting up the latest build of RetroPie on my test system. One of the things I wanted to get working satisfactorily this time around was N64 emulation. In my previous build (3.6) I was able to get the games I wanted to play running well in 720p resolution with very little lag. I used an overclocked GPU to achieve this, and for the most part it was perfectly playable. In this new build I seem to be locked at 240p with no obvious way to change it. This looks terrible on an HDTV. I can understand making this the default for performance reasons, but I hope the ability to increase the resolution hasn't been removed entirely. The info page on the emulator simply states that as of RetroPie 4.0, N64 is locked to 320x240. I guess my question is simple. Can I increase the resolution that N64 games are rendered in? If so how do I do it? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
