3/4 Player on Super Bomberman SNES not working
-
Hi,
I have just bought a new Pi 3 B model and have the latest version of Retropie 4.3.8 (be6128e) and system Linux retropie 4.9.35-v7+ #1014. I’ve updated this today 21st Dec 2017.
I,vet installed Super Bomberman which works fine a 2 player game but I want to play 3 or player on it.
I’ve seen various attempts online at making it work but do not totally understand the instructions of which method works exactly.
I’m running my Pi with three PS3 controllers if that helps.
Can I get 3 controllers working just simply using menu options on my Pi or do I need to creat a file on my PC to transfer somewhere on the Pi?
I need a dumber guide to how I fix this, please help. -
@ashthekid are you enabling the multitap while in the game?

No I'm not enabling multitap while in the game, how do you do that?
I've had a quick look and do you mean pressing Select+X because that doesn't do anything during the game.
I have 3 controllers connected upon bootup of the Pi 3b. 3 players work when playing N64 Mario Kart but nothing on the SNES.I assumed I could plug the SD card from my Pi into my work PC to access /opt/retropie/configs/snes/retroarch.cfg so that I can add the line of code at the end: input_libretro_device_p2=“257”
But I have now discovered that isn't possible. Can't access any of those folders from Windows Explorer.I've tried to access it through retroarch configuration on the pi setup menus and although I can find the cfg file and add the line of code I cannot exit it or select "OK" at the bottom so I can't actually save it to the file which is really frustrating - I can't press ESC which obviously doesn't save anything, it just exits you to the previous menu. I switched on the Save of Exit setting on the other retroarch program but that didn't seem to make a different either.

@ashthekid what is your hotkey? Do you press select and start to exit? It should be your hotkey + x.
