I need help. (Could not expand filesytem)
-
@pesto Hello. You need to provide the information requested here https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first before anyone can begin to help you.
Did you try expanding via theraspi-config
menu? -
@jonnykesh How would I do that? I'm new to raspberry pie and retro pie.
-
-
@jonnykesh It still won't let me access the config. The screen is just blue and says " Could not expand filesytem, please try raspi-config or rc_gui.
Boot and root partitions are on different devices" -
@pesto Okay. It was worth trying first. You need to provide the info about your setup. As I previously requested.
-
@jonnykesh Your asking for what type of raspberry pie I'm using? I'm using Pi 3 model B
-
@pesto I'm asking you to provide the information requested in the link I posted above.
-
@jonnykesh The link tells me how to access the config. Which I can't.
-
@pesto The one above that.
Sorry dude, if you can't post basic info and follow basic instructions I can't help you. Hopefully someone with more time and patience will offer to assist. -
@pesto Do you intend to run RetroPie on the PI ? Then follow the steps in https://retropie.org.uk/docs/First-Installation/ (there's a handy video included) and you should be good to go. You don't need to expand the filesystem in order to install RetroPie.
