      I'm building a custom cabinet and I have a joystick\button kit with a COIN button. I'd like for that to actually work and still have a standard select button for each player. Because SELECT is the default "add coin" option, I'd like to also map the COIN button to select.

      I accept that the coin button would also be another select button, it would be there for mostly aesthetics and a very specific function; HOTKEY button + COIN button = add credit.

      Can I modify the /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg file and add two button numbers (comma separated) like:
      input_player1_select_btn = 8, 12

      Is there any way to do this?

      Thanks,
      Jason

        @jason no, but just run another set of wires to the coin buttons such that when you press either SELECT or COIN, it triggers the input.

          @caver01, Thanks for the idea! I'll give that try.
