Simulate coin input from another pi

Is is possible to get coin input from another pi?
I was thinking maybe of having the signal sent from GPIO pins on pi 1 to a usb encoder, which would be connected by usb to pi 2, which is running retropie. Then setup the input config on retropie so that the signal sent = insert coin
Probably the wrong way if going about it, but any ideas appreciated

@betty8080 What is you you are actually trying to do? Forgive me but I am confused as to why this would even be needed.
Just input the coin up directly to the Pi running the emulator. -
I want one of the pi's running retropie in a cabinet and another pi, also in the cabinet, but with a screen attached.
The pi with the screen will display a qr code so that the user can pay to play by sending a crypto currency payment. Similar to bitcoin.
I was hoping the pi with the screen would monitor the payment address and when it recognises payment has been sent, send the signal to the other pi to insert coin

@betty8080 So, you wan't to monetise RetroPie and charge people to play? I don't think you're going to get much assistance with that here.

@jonnykesh no, I don't. It's for an event I am exhibiting at. I work for the coin in question and will be giving away the tokens to play for free. It's just to demonstrate the mobile wallet and instant transactions in a fun way

@betty8080 So, you want someone to help promote your product and supply a solution for free?
This is not something that would be straightforward and would require a significant amount of time and effort to get working reliably in the environment you describe.
How much are you willing to pay the person who provides a solution? -
@jonnykesh I didn't ask for a solution, I asked if what I was trying to do was possible. I'm more than willing to research into making it work, just needed some help getting the correct strategy.
