I'm hoping someone can help me out here i'm starting to pull my hair out figuring out whats wrong
So I know to start windows can only format a 2TB Drive max for FAT32, so I formatted to NTFS.
Created the retropie-mount folder, enabled the rom script in RP and it successfully copied over the required structure to the USB drive
Problem i'm having is I have added new games onto the USB drive, but RP will not see them after rebooting
I have tried changing the rom paths in /etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg, to point towards the usb drive but that resulted in getting the "ES cannot find any systems" error, so I just wiped the sd card and started again
What am I doing wrong, or what else do I have to change to get RP to recognise the roms located on my USB?
I read some info about where a different cfg file RP uses (Not ES) but was confusing as hell!
