Bsnes Core not activating
-
Snes9x core seems to the be the only core that activates when I launch a title. If i try to set a rom to launch with a different emulator, my only options are the three snes9x emulators, 2000, 2005, 2010. Within RetroArch I have downloaded specific cores, like bsnes. I can configure and such but cannot seem to make roms launch this way. I imagine I am missing some sort of settings but within any settings or setup I have found, there is nothing about this specific topic. I have searched as well. I would post my Raspberry Pi 3 set up but I think is more of an interface issue where I am just missing something. I went into ReTroPie setup to see if I'm missing anything but I'm not seeing it. Do I need to install all my cores within RetroPie even if I download them into RetroArch?
I will post my configs when I get home if need be. I'm on the latest RetroPie image found on the site as I reimaged my sd card yesterday.

@406prox bsnes is NEVER going to run on a Pi.

Specs or compatibility?

@406prox simple specs. Bsnes / higan needs at least double the Pi's CPU speed and a mid range GPU. It's great emu but it's a resource hog.
Just google bsnes / higan on pi. You'll get a few results where others have tried and failed. Plus further hardware / software requirements the Pi simply cannot meet.

Thanks for the update. My Snes9x 2010 runs super well and I'd say almost 100% accurate in my experience but was just curious

Bsnes has been updated in the last year (version 106 is currently available) and is now much lighter.
Could you activate for raspberry? thank you
