Universal XML Scraper Noob

Okay so I really like the "mixed" images that this scrapes for my arcade cabinet. The problem is that it didn't find everything; oddly for common games like Turtles in Time SNES and Castlevania NES. How do I get the missing games metadata manually? I can't really understand how Screenscraper.fr works.
Also, for Sega Genesis, I tried to select Genesis within UXML Scraper and it had a problem with the folder I pointed to. So I pointed to Megadrive ROMs instead and it scraped Megadrive. So my Genesis category doesn't have the new art and Megadrive does (only it's Genesis art). Man.. any tips would be good.

OK, so I figured out how to get my Genesis romset to scrape via Universal XML. The problem is that a handful of games ended up getting the Megadrive cover arts instead of Genesis. Does anyone know where I can manually dig up the art files? I know how to access the downloaded files via WinSCP. I just need to download them and drop them in to overwrite the Megadrive scraped art.
Everything is looking pretty cool so far though with this scraper.

@greenhawk84 Unfortunately it is not very convenient to grab the images from screenscraper.fr, you have to manually browse the system (i still don't understand why that site has no search function), go to the media tab of the game, check the size of the image you want, right click the image and select open in new tab, remove the last bit of the url you just opened just to set the width=xxx to whatever the value was.

That does not sound very friendly. I tried looking up Desert Strike for Sega Genesis and I saw a bunch of the art files, but they didn't appear to be downloadable or the same type of file that the scraper places in the Retropie folder.

@greenhawk84 it is not. If I remember correctly, I've read that screenscraper.fr was mainly developed to be used with scrapers and not as standalone database. Since you know where your files (gamelist and images) are, you can make a backup of those and try using sselph's scraper or skraper (it was an alpha version linked on screenscraper.fr some time ago) to get your missing files. I never used sselph's and had some troubles with skraper so I don't know if they are better.
All I can say is that I spend more time with scraping the (almost) perfect data for my games, then I've actually played them. I really wish there was a better rom manager / scraper frontend, something like tiny media manager for movies/tv shows would be awesome. -
I wonder if I was able to make a list of the games I need the USA region art for that maybe someone could make me a zip?
