I want to reset to the gamemenu with a third controller.

So my setup will be 2 controllers to play Co-Op for some games and the third controller(or mouse, keyboard) can bring up the retropie interface to quit the game or reset it. Don't want this to be controller by controller 1 or 2.

      Is this possible?

@downup as far as I'm aware either a keyboard or player one are the designated hotkey devices. I don't think hotkey work with player two. They are making some modifications to the input configs upstream but I don't know if that will affect hotkeys at all.

The closest thing is setting all_users_control_menu = "true". However, this would obviously mean that all users would be able to control the menu and not just player three. However, you could unbind the controller mappings for all RetroArch functions and map them solely as keyboard keys. Then players one and two wouldn't have access from the controllers, but anyone using a keyboard would.
