I tried finding the same problem on the forums but no solution to my specific answer .Ok so Im running latest version of retropie image .I bough a reprogrammable Joystick Pad with a board the programs itself .The buttons are working and nothing is wrong with the Cables .I put First player and it works great .When I program the second player as 1st through Configure Input in the main menu.It works great .Now when I try to use them at the same time Second player doesnt work .I already tried setting up the controls on retroArch I set them up accordingly and make sure I have Save controls before exiting .and I try the game out and Left goes down and Pressing "A" is Start so I experiment to see if it was the Actual buttons but its all RetroArch .Please help really fustrating .Kinda of a noob to retropie

@fear_sage42 That's an old video. I don't have a Dragonrise controller, but from what I've seen in the forum posts

            • you only need to configure the 1st player
            • both players' controls need to be wired identically.
