I searched the forum, and found some topics that touch on this but really don't give specific detailed step by step how to fix this. I can make it simple by posting a pic. Please look at the MS Pac-Man, all my vertical games display like this.. How can I have it display properly? I don't mind the black space on the left and right of the screen.. Thanks![alt text]0_1524406922687_mspacstretched.jpg

it looks like you have changed your settings from default so it’s difficult to say exactly what you should do to fix it, but a quick first try would be to load the configuration editor, and for ‘all libretro emulators’ change ‘aspect ratio’ to ‘core provided’

I looked around in the configuration editor, went into the selections, but could not find an "aspect ratio" choice by itself anywhere, or anything that had "core provided" as a selection. I know it is a bit annoying but could you give me a step by step, starting with "configuration editor" then "next menu" then Next menu" etc until I get to the right choice? Thank you in advance!

@raoulangel in the link above you select the same highlighted options in the first 2 screenshots, and in the third screenshot you can see the aspect ratio option. does it appear differently for you? please give details.

@dankcushions Got it to work! My menus say Apect Ratio INDEX, and it's on a screen where the text runs off the edge. I got it now. Thanks!
