              @tackskull but you said earlier:

              I got the retroarch-core-options.cfg and I scrolled down to pcsx_rearmed, there are many option to configure but the "neon enhanced" is not there.

                    @tackskull

                    in retropie it would be /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-core-options.cfg

                    not sure if it's different on PC

                          @tackskull please don't bump posts. i heard you the first time.

                          RetroPie and RetroPie-Setup are folders in /home/pi/, presumably? that's not where you should be looking. go look in /opt/, where i said.

                              @tackskull just add the 2 lines in the guide to the file - it doesn't matter if they aren't there previously.

                              hang on, if you're using retropie on a PC why would you be using pcsx_rearmed anyway? that's for arm CPUs. for pc you are better to use lr-beetle-psx. i don't know how you configure that, but it has several option: see https://docs.libretro.com/library/beetle_psx_hw/

                                @tackskull The file is in the /opt/retropie/configs/all/ folder, that's neither in the ~/RetroPie-Setup (the setup script folder) nor in the ~/RetroPie (the roms folder).

                                    @tackskull What's the error in the log file (log is in /dev/shm/runcommand.log) ? Enable verbose mode for RetroArch in the Runcommand launch menu and launch the game, then get the log file and post it on pastebin.com so we can spot the error.

                                        You're missing the BIOS file:

                                        [libretro INFO] Checking if required firmware is present.
                                        [libretro ERROR] Firmware is missing: scph5501.bin
                                        [libretro ERROR] Content cannot be loaded

                                        Find and copy the right bios for the PS1 content - you'll find it explained in https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Playstation-1/. It even says the name of the bios files, which you don't have.

                                          I am getting crazy, I downloaded that bios already, but to be shure I downloaded a big pack with so many NTSC and Pal bios and I put them all in the retropie->bios folder. Resullt? games don't start anyway

                                            @tackskull Make sure the BIOS filenames are correct - Linux is case sensitive, so if your file is SCPH5501.BIN, it's not going to be found by the emulator. The same goes for the .bin/.cue files.
