I’m using a Pi3B with an original PS2 controller. Starting a few months back, the controller would just stop responding when I would start up a game. Then I would start-select out of the game (using a wireless keyboard which DOESN’T freeze), start up again, and then freeze again. It takes several restarts for the controller to finally work properly. And it’s always at the beginning of the night when I sit down to play. Not two hours later or anything. And I also noticed just before the controls freeze, the in-game audio would kind of stutter in and out. Then if I waited a few moments, it would stutter again and I would regain my controls. In and out, constantly. Sometimes it doesn’t come back and that’s when I restart. Has anyone else had a problem like this?

Also, what’s the deal with my Pi crashing to the Linux prompt screen? It says “segmentation fault.” When that happens, even the keyboard is unresponsive and I have to restart the Pi.
