default emulator stuck on retropie b3
-
Hey guys I have seen a few posts on here about this and have contributed although my problem remains. If I chose a default emulator to run any rom on any emulator I am stuck with it regardless if it works or not. I try to change it and it stays as the 1st chosen. Also I can't remove emulator choice for rom. I have been given a command to type in the command line for the permissions? And have put it in all that happens is a new blank line appears. Any ideas? Thanks

@benjiman Start by mentioning your setup https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first. You didn't give any info in the previous topic you posted. It looked like a permission problem, but it might as well be something else.
Does this problem happen for any system or for a particular set of systems ? -
@mitu I'm still a noob on the pi but it's just a b3+ it happens to all my emulators.

As @mitu said, please read that link. It tells you what information you should provide to allow people to,help you. Just telling us which version of the Raspberry Pi you have does not really help that much.
-
@benjiman Have you tried the advice from the other topic ? What's the content of the
/opt/retropie/configs/all/emulators.cfg
file ? -
@mitu can I do that on just my pi or do I need a computer.
-
@benjiman You can use the File Manager - in the RetroPie system menu - to look in the file directly on the Pi, but it's easier if you have a PC and connect via file shares at
\\retropie\configs\all\emulators.cfg
.
