      Hello guys,

I am using retropie with a pc running linux. Using the psx beetle emulator, when I try to put the resolution option on 4X, the game go very very slow and audio do a lot of noise. With a pc like this I don't understand why I can run psp, n64 and dreamcast games in hd but not the psx that is an older system compared to the others.

My pc is a laptop lenovo ideapad 320:

      processor: AMD A10-9620P
      Ram: 8Gb
      video card: AMD Radeon R7
      Hard disk: 1Tb

Can someone elping me to play psx games in hd? Untill I play on 2X graphic averything is going well, in 4X everything became a mess

i believe you want to be using beetle in hardware mode (open gl). software rendering at 4x will be a killer. it will be one of the core options. you'll have better luck asking this kind of question on the libretro forums.

So what have I to do for playing psx games in hd on retropie? There isn't any rendering option in pcsx, so beetle is my only option

@tackskull beetle is the right choice for PC, but like i said, you'll need to be using it in hardware/gl mode. again, you'll have better luck with beetle support on libretro forums. we tend to be more pi-focused here.
