I have a Raspberry PI 3B+ running latest retropie. I have setup my ps3 controllers using the offical ps3 drivers. If I use a single controller, there is almost no input lag. Using 2 or more controllers is a shitshow since button presses are missed and sometimes it registers nothing. Can someone please help as to reason for the lag? All run on bluetooth.

Disabble your wifi connection, that will make your joysticks run smooth.
Wifi board makes interference on the bluetooth signal when you are using 2+ controllers
