Pi Model or other hardware: 3B
Power Supply used: 5v AC adapter
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.4.2
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
USB Devices connected: keyboard, generic PS3 cobtroller
Controller used: PS4 controller connected via bluetooth
      Error messages received: none
      Emulator: LR-MAME2003

Hi, I hope I provided all the information correctly. I've been trying to figure this out for a while now and have googled it to no avail. I have mapped both controllers correctly, but when in a emulator (have tries SNES and LR-MAME2003) when I press select and start at the same time on either generic USB or PS4 controller or XY on the keyboard it will not exit the game.

EDIT: I figured out the insert coin issue, but still cannot exit any of my games.

@gamer56 what did you bind as hotkey during https://retropie.org.uk/docs/First-Installation/#configure-controllers ?

to exit a game, it's hotkey + button you bound as 'start'

PS, only player 1 is able to use hotkey functions.
