      Please check the image below for a visual reference of what i'm dealing with.

      Some .png images i'm using are from screenscraper, while others i've created myself. They all have transparency when viewed in photoshop or mac preview. They have transparency when viewed in the rom selection menus. However when the game launches, the artwork displays but with a gray background instead of a transparent one. I've tried this with different themes and it problem persists.

      Does anyone have any ideas to fix this problem?

        I guess the fbi (image viewer) used to display the .png file does not support transparency ?

          Ahh ok, that makes sense. It seems it defaults to a gray background. I wonder if there's a way to either have it default to a black background OR make the side bezels match the gray background i'm getting from the .png
