Hi folks! I try to play Wonderboy in Monsterland in Retropie at SEGA MASTERSYSTEM but the game did not start well. I got it start but there are only colored pixels. Any ideas? Does anyone has the same problem? Thank you very much. Then I try to start Mame Wonderboy in Monsterland but there I cannot jump...

Bad ROM perhaps.

Are you using the right ROM set for the version of MAME that you're using?
Before we can offer any meaningful help, you'll need to provide more information about your setup. The necessary information is detailed at https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

I too have an issue with running Wonder Boy in Monsterland. The game actually runs but the start menu blinks and you can't start the game. If you repeatedly press the start button eventually the game begins but after a second it goes back to the blinking start menu.
I tried a bunch of roms and nothing changes. -
I just ran a test game and everything seems to start and play fine.
The MD5 hash of my ROM is

Is there an update on this?
I too have the same issue. I can start the game but when I enter the first tree trunk the graphic gets glitched, I have a pattern of colorful repeating squares on the screen. (PI 3B+)
