      Everyone,

      Here are my specs:

      Raspberry Pi 3 B+
      32 GB SD Card, GSkill
      CanaKit 2.5A Power Supply
RetroPie SD image from website v4.4

So I'm new to the RetroPie scene and I've got my NES and SNES games running flawlessly, it is with the N64 roms that I am running into issues. Most games are unplayable, for example Episode 1 Podracer has a stuttering framerate and the sound constantly crackles and is out of sync. Can the Pi just not handle N64 emulation or am I doing something wrong? I have tried all of the different emulators, but none of them appear to run the games well. Super Mario 64 seems to run the best, but I still deal with the sound crackling every now and again.

@Kentinator there are several threads concerning N64 Emulation with the Pi, but to say it with a few words: your experience nails it.
Mario64, MarioKart64 and a few others work well, a lot of other games do not.
