      Hi,
I have recently got into using AMIBERRY and see it can now natively support WHDLoad via LHA files. I have previously installed WHDLOAD from Ultimate Amiga. I would now like to uninstall this and clean up all the files and folders it setup and use the AMIBERRY version. I located "UAE Config Maker.sh and Auto-Amiga Install.sh and removed these. I have found the following under my roms folder and want to know if its safe to delete "amiga-data" inside this folder are several other folders with files:
      _BootWHD
      Games_Cd32
      Games_WHDLoad
      Games_WHDLoad_AGA
      Games_WHDLoad_CD32
      Games_WHDLoad_CDTV
      Games_WHDLOAD_DemoVersions
      Games_WHDLoad_HDF
      Games_WHDLoad_HDF_AGA
      Games_WHDLoad_HDF_AltLanguage
      Games_WHDLoad_HDF_CDTV
      Games_WHDLoad_HDF_DemoVersions
      Games_WHDLoad_Unofficial

There is also a bunch of .uae files under my roms/amga filder which I assume relates to the files in the above folders.

      Thanks in advance

      Raspberry Pi 3B
      SanDisk MicroSD 64GB
      Retropie 4.4
      Raspberry Pi 2.5 amp PSU
      4 x Logitech F710 Wireless Controllers
      Logitech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

      Thanks,
      Dwarfboysim

        Hi,
I've gone through the same process myself. You're right the amiga-data folder is no longer needed and can be deleted. The UAE files are probably config files that point to games in the amiga-data folder. If so they can also be deleted, but back them up first if you're not sure.
You'll need to find .lha versions of the WHDLoad games and drop them into amiga/roms to replace these game (sounds like you already know this, thought I'd point it out just in case)

Thanks for the reply. One more question how do u change the default config with the amiberry boot load for controllers. Would like to specify a mouse in port 0 and a particular joystick in port 1 as default for all amiberry WHDLoad games.

          Thanks,
          Dwarfboysim

@Dwarfboysim I believe you need to edit the hostprefs.conf file which you can find in /opt/retropie/configs/amiga/amiberry/whdboot.

The following links at the Amiberry wiki should offer further guidance:

            • Host Specific Settings
            • WHDLoad Booter FAQ
