Mounting only pulling atari emulators / roms HALP :{
-
So i have a pi 2 with a sandisk 64gb boot sd , i have an external powered hub connected (tried onboard and gives me low power unless i do it this way) and i have about 19 emulators 13k roms on a 256gb thumbdrive formatted in fat32 ... however when i reboot all i get is atari like it started pulling froms from the top of the list but then gives up. they are in the correct folders ....correct extension ...not zipped ......I am not sure what im doing wrong here. Has anyone else seen this or know what im doing wrong? i can provide more details if needed. the drive is blinkinging is it just taking forever to read them and collect them together?

@Dben91 My guess is that either the drive is not read at all or the thumbdrive takes some time to get read and mounted. Emulationstation starts before the drive is fully mounted and doesn't show the contents - you can easily see if that's the case if you just reboot Emulationstation from the menu.
Otherwise, post the info requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first and a copy of Emulationstation's log file from/home/pi/.emulationstation/es_log.txt

@mitu How would it pull the atari systems but nothing else?
What happens when you rename your atari (2600 I guess?) folder on the thumbdrive to something else, e.g.
atari2600.test
? Does it still show up or does another system appear instead?Does the option "Parse Gamelists Only" in Emulation Station's Main Menu > Other Options change anything? (The latter only applies if you generated
gamelist.xml
files for your roms.)And please excuse me, but are you really sure that the other systems are on the thumbdrive? Can you show us a listing of the
roms
folder on the thumbdrive?edit: And please post the information that @mitu requested in the post above your last post.
