Game override not being saved.
-
Hello, I built a retropie using Raspberry Pi 3+ about 2 months ago. I'm using a CRT monitor to get the best picture as it was intended. I have 8 arcade games installed in the arcade ROM folder. I want all of the games except Rampage World Tour and Pac-Man running with "black frame insertion" on. For some reason, every other setting is saving but not the "black frame insertion" for Rampage World Tour. I have all other games running at 320x240 120Hz, except Rampage and Pac-Man, that's why I have "black frame insertion" turned on. However, for Rampage and Pac-Man I have set at 1024x768 because otherwise the game will be zoomed and the HUD is cut off. Every other setting seems to be saving for "Rampage" using "game override" but black frame insertion is not. I save the override, exit the game and come back and it's still on and thus I get flickering. I'm using Mame2003 for all games except Metal Slug. I'm stuck with Rampage flickering because "black frame insertion" is stuck on and I don't know what to do.

You could try adding an override manually for that game - see this docs page.

@mitu I shouldn't have to do it that way. The point is game override should work, shouldn't it? Also, I just used Terminal grep command and searched every cfg file that contained "video_black_frame_insertion"
You can see it made a game override for metal slug but I don't see the one made for Rampage. The only emulator I'm using for Metal Slug is FB Alpha. Every other game is using Mame2003 as the default.
