Okay. I am not savvy on programming or anything. I want to play my ISO of Lunar and it won't play. It shows up on the Sega CD section, and when I select launch the screen goes black and the dialogue appears, but then it goes right back to the Sega CD game select screen. I put ISO file in the Sega CD Rom folder. I don't get what I am doing wrong.... Any ideas?

@wickedninja8599 Sega CD games need a bios file copied in the BIOS folder - see https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Sega-CD/. Do you have the right BIOS file ?

I am starting to think that if you aren't savvy with programming then you are pretty much stuck with what you got on it as default then. That link doesn't really tell you where to get a BIOS file and how to install it. It also has a bunch of coding in it too.

@wickedninja8599 I think 'programming'/'coding' is not what your think it is. Editing a file is not 'programming' in any way.
As far as the BIOS files are concerned, you can get them the same way you get your ROMs - https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/2/forum-rules.

I was having the same problem so I started a segaCD games in verbose mode and noticed that it was looking for the BIOS in the segaCD roms folder instead of the BIOS folder. This was on a new machine I was setting up on Ubuntu 18.04. Not sure what has changed that made it look to ROMS instead of BIOS folder.
