So I'm kind of a noob to the retropie. I got it a few weeks ago. And just yesterday I discovered that it could run the minecraft PI edition, and as a long time minecraft fan I immedietly installed it. Now I intend to use my retropie as a portable console sort of. So only being able to play with mouse and keyboard was a great disappointment for me. Ever since, I've been trying to look at posts about it. Most posts were just unanswered. But I did find one stating that you could use a program called qjoypad, but I do think it could cause conflict if used with other games, and other things overall. I would just want to hear some more experienced users' opinions on what programs would be the most suitable to set up controller support.

I use a raspberry pi 3b+ with the latest install of retropie.
I have a xbox 360 controller. I can't remember what brand it is, but I know it works fine with retropie.
