Having trouble downloading retropie images on the best site for them, flashing them to microsd card but image wont work. Im new to torrent files. They are downloading as an image file. Im using etcher so im not extracting the file. ? Are images on this site mostly corrupt? Or maybe im not doing something right. A step by step or any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

There are no official torrents for Retropie. The official download link is: https://retropie.org.uk/download/

You can find fairly easy to follow instructions for setup here: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/First-Installation/

@simpleethat sorry. I meant the preconfigured images that already have roms and scripts.

@anmag70 Those are EXACTLY the problem. It is against the terms of the license to package RPi with roms and/or any other copyrighted material. THose are not official images or distributions and will not have any support here.

I'll also add that it's against the forum rules to ask where to get roms or discuss romsites. That includes retropie images that include ROMs.
