      I have never done a retropie before and since I might get an arcade 1up for christmas, I want to mod it. I know that certain roms will only work with certain emulators. I'm wondering what emulators are included with the latest retropie image download. I will be having mostly arcade games and need to know which version of rom set I need to use.

        @Spottedfeather https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Supported-Systems
        Keep in mind that list is also for pc, so don't expect the highend systems listed to run on a pi. A few are preinstalled. You can install more from retropie-setup.

        Here's specific info about arcade emulators: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Arcade
        I recommend fb-neo and mame2003plus. You have to use at least two arcade emulators due to speed/compatibility.

          @Darksavior retropie-setup ? I just want to be able to run CPS and CPS2 capcom games, as well as normal arcade games. Non merged roms, I hear are best. Is mame2003plus included in retropie ? What about fb-neo ? Sorry for all the questions. I'm new to this whole thing. That last time I really knew my way around computers was the apple II.

          Is there a list of what emulators are included with the latest version ? Also, I can't find FB Neo v0.2.97.44 romset....at least not where I found the roms for mame2003plus.

            @Spottedfeather Read the beginners guide which has info about retropie-setup, a script to install more drivers/emulators. https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/First-Installation

            FB-neo should run most games and it's recommended due to the great support and it's actively worked on. The fb-neo romset isn't finalized so whatever you'll find will change over time. Mame2003plus devs backports what they can from newer mames but I use that for whatever games fb-neo doesn't run or run well. I don't remember if fb-neo is included but mame2003plus is not included with the retropie image. You'll have to install it from retropie-setup. You'll need internet access on your pi to do this. This goes for any supported emulator that's not included with the retropie image. This really shouldn't be a concern as long as your pi has internet access.

              @Darksavior so FB neo will run most games I throw at it ? Cool. I just want to make sure I can get games like X-Men Children Of The Atoms, Marvel Superheroes, and X-Men Vs. Street Fighter to work. CPS and CPSII games are what I'm primarily concerned with getting to work properly.

              How do you do internet on a pi ? As I said, I've never done a pi before and will probably be getting one soon after christmas...hopefully.

                @Spottedfeather Fb-neo runs cps1,2,3 fullspeed on a pi3b+. https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Wifi
